Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Wine Friday: Red Blend

Happy, happy Friday! Wherever you are, I hope you are having a great day and are looking forward to the weekend! I am in Deerfield Beach, Florida, for a business trip and will be flying back home this afternoon. It's been wonderful, and it doesn't hurt to have such a lovely backdrop for meetings!

On this particular Wine Friday, I wanted to share with you a great bottle that I've had several times, and enjoyed again this past weekend.

Seven_Daughters_Red_Blend

Seven Daughter's Red Winemakers Blend
Origin: California
Average price: $9
Notes from their website: Seven Daughters Red Winemaker’s Blend tempts the taste buds with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, Carignane and Sangiovese. Be prepared to be seduced by the dark red fruit on the palate, complemented by alluring aromas of vanilla and lavender and a provocative peppery finish.

So good! And such a cute, fun bottle, too!
