Dancing with... American Idols?

I've never watched so much TV in my life as I am right now! It's embarrassing. I hardly ever turned on a TV in college, or much less, centered my evenings around a show! But, boy am I sucked in to some of this "reality" show stuff. You already know how much I love The Bachelor and I can't wait til' May when Jillian stars in The Bachelorette.


But, what has my attention now that the Jason/Molly/Melissa drama is over is Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. I've been a fan of Dancing (or DWTS for those who are in the know) since its inception. I think it's very entertaining and makes ballroom dancing look pretty awesome. Plus, it's clean and fairly drama free. One added bonus this season is that the Bachelor reject, Melissa, is a contestant. I guess what constitutes a "star" is always changing.


Either way, I'm rooting for her and cute little gymnast Shawn Johnson.


American Idol, however, has been on for YEARS and I've only ever watched the funny try-outs and never kept up with it...... UNTIL NOW. I really like this show and can't believe I've been missing out on all the fun for so long. PLUS, I have somebody to cheer for: Kris Allen!


He's from Arkansas, which makes me an automatic fan, and he can sing really well! I know his cute little wife, she was the homecoming queenie after me, so that's my personal connection/claim-to-fame.

Anyway, I hope Kris goes all the way to the finals. AND YES, I'm voting! I never ever thought I'd vote for anything on TV, but here I am, sucked in, like I said.

So between my Sunday night shows of Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters... to Monday's Dancing with the Stars (and hopping over to Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC)... to Tuesday's DWTS Results and American Idol... to Wednesday's American Idol results... to Thursday's Gray's Anatomy and Private Practice... It's clear I'm all booked!!! Holy geez, I'm exhausted just thinking about all of that drama. What's a girl to do when she has studyin' husband?
