Me Pot o' Gold

Top o' the mornin' to ya, lads and lassies! Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! It's one of me fave-rit "small holidays" of tha yeer. (Notice my attempt to write with Irish blunder? :)

Me long-legged leprechaun friend, Jessica, and I have a St Patty's tradition. If we're together, we'll toast with some green beer. But this yeer, we're apart. I mailed her a lil' bundle o' green goodness and she secretly left me a pot of gold at me house (from her visit a few weeks back). She sent me on a treasure hunt to find what she'd hidden fer me. All me' had to do was follow the rainbo'... to find she'd left me a box of Lucky Charms! "Hearts, Stars, and Horseshoes, Clovers, and Blue Moons, Pots of Gold and Rainbows, and me Red Balloons!" My, they're magically delicious.

Yum! The leprechaun me live with had two bowls o' the treasure before bed last night. "They're Always After me Lucky Charms!"

And here I am this lovely Tuesdee mornin' wearin' me green and enjoying me frosted lucky charms. Thanks Jessica!


Also, at work today, they have these festive buttons and we're all having green beer at 4:00. Can't wait!


Now I'm off to pinch the un-lucky few who chose not to wear green :)

Make sure you pinch Cathy and Ben! Ben said snottily to me in the diner - "I don't keep up with holidays like this" How dare he!
