Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Really, Jason? Really!?

Ok, I've told you before how much I love the silly, silly show called The Bachelor. It's a guilty pleasure of mine. No, I don't believe that it's a good way to find true love, but it sure entertains me to watch 'em try!
So, last night was the finale. It was ridiculous. That bachelor, Jason, is a total slime ball. Serious problems! Absolutely crazy. He clearly has unrealistic expectations for a relationship and thinks it's all supposed to be champagne & roses!
Either way, I had a great time watching it last night with my two work friends, Anne and Lisa. After work, we went to Pei Wei for dinner and came back to the office to watch on the big screen in the conference room. We had "finale celebratory ice cream cake" and all! I taught Lisa how to poof her hair (she's from Michigan and found this concept very foreign). It was a hoot. And needless to say, we are all so outraged with Jason! Oh well, we'll see what happens tonight on "Part 2."

And I now proudly rock the poof!
