Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Menu Monday 10/18

Hello, Monday.

I'm doing a different sort of menu this week. I'm in DC for work, so I won't be going to the grocery store or planning any meals. Sometimes a break is nice, right?

In the meantime, pumpkin is on my brain. Though it's officially been fall for almost a month, it's just now starting to cool down and really feel like fall. So, I'm craving all of the comforts of autumn: recipes with apples, squash, pumpkin, and things like soups, stews, breads, mmmmmmm.

So, here are 4 pumpkin recipes that I've bookmarked from blogs lately and can't wait to try:

From top left, links to recipes below:

Cinnamon Toasted Pumpkin Pie Tarts --- from Picky Palate. I love that these are shaped like pumpkins, and they look so good!

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins --- from Annie's Eats. Pumpkin + cream cheese = heaven.

Luscious Layered Pumpkin Spice Cake --- from my friend Meredith. I will definitely be making it this season. Looks gorgeous!

Harvest Apple Soup --- How Sweet It Is posted this recently. Doesn't it look great!? I love the idea of serving the soup inside real pie pumpkins.
