Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Amateur Photo Session

So, I am nowhere near professional when it comes to photography. I really don't even know how to use all of my camera features! I do intend to learn though. And get Photoshop. And learn that. And be awesome at it one day.

But, in the meantime, I'm just playing around. And offering my services to friends in need of a cute (free) pic for their Christmas card! Because I love our friends, the Siscos, so darn much, I met up with them today on Mud Island to take some pics around their house and down by the river. Here are a few of my favorites!

That's their dog Reecie. She was mostly misbehavin' for all the pictures. Hard to get dogs to pose!

This couple sure is a good blonde counterpart to us Joneses!

It was actually VERY cold down here by the water. I had a coat on but these poor kiddos didn't! They were great sports and we worked quickly!

A serious/funny pose. I love that Reecie is staring off at the river, too!!

This is one flirty couple...easy to take pictures of!

Cute, cute Siscos. Noses are starting to turn a little red, too :)

I think we managed to get at least 2 worthy of a Christmas card, don'tcha think??
We tried to make it a quick session so Trav could return to studying!

Speaking of holiday cards, mine are going into the mail tomorrow! I didn't print as many as I did last year, so I'll be sure to post the image of it later this week for those that won't get one... sorry guys, budgetary restrictions apply to me!

Have a great Monday, everyone!
