I have finally figured out how to post my pictures in a better way. Flickr! I still have a lot to learn about all this techy-blogger business, but I'm getting there.
Anywho, here are the pics from all the pre-wedding fun. First up is the bridal luncheon. This was at Brave New Restaurant in Little Rock and it was beautiful! I should have taken pictures of the view we had of the Arkansas River.

Wedding Party!
From Left: Jessica Buckler, Whitney Grounds, Ashley Childers (Lauren's sister), Lauren Quick (now Strother), Rachel Adams, Joanna Lynch, Me, and in front, Hannah Gillespie, Cassie Stoffer.

My sweet, fashionable friends. I love you, two!

Making use of my camera's fancy self-portrait feature.

Hug with the bride before we all depart for Heber Springs!
Next, we all parted ways and headed up to Heber Springs. It's just a little over an hour drive, and absolutely beautiful! If I had plenty of time, I would have stopped every few miles to snap some pics, but we had a rehearsal to get to!
It was really chilly while we rehearsed the ceremony outside, so nobody was too concerned with pictures. But, we all got warm and cozy back at the Red Apple for a beautiful rehearsal dinner...

Me and my mountain man.

Whit Grounds.

Another group shot! Lots of pretty faces.
Why are all the brunettes on the left and the blondes on the right? Natural segregation?

Jessica and her sweetie, Brandon. I'm likin' this guy!

Ready for that beard to go :) More to come on that later...
Anyway, the rehearsal dinner was very sweet. There were some wonderful toasts, and good cheer all around. At the end of the night, all the gals went together to Whitney's parents cabin on the Little Red River. Let me tell ya, this place is gorgeous!! I've been before, as you can see here.
We had a great little bridesmaid sleepover. The next morning, I made everybody breakfast (somebody's gotta assume the mom role, right?). We got our hair done and did our makeup there, too. It was so nice to relax there and not be running all over town. Lauren was so calm and relaxed! Here are the pics:
BEAUTIFUL cabin. I'm in love with it.
The kitchen is a dream. But, of course, we were a little messy :)
Lauren's niece Brighton hung out with us, too. She is such a little grown-up! Here, she takes a break to do some coloring. We became fast friends.
She told me I was gonna be Wonder Mom one day :) How cute.
Lauren's hair, in process, already looking fab!!
Oh, one thing we did for Lauren was print a bunch of black and white photos and put in a cute album for her, and we each wrote a small note somewhere. It turned out great...
Katie Stalcup takes a turn secretly working on this in the bathroom. Lauren couldn't find out 'til we were done!
When we gave Lauren the book, just before the ceremony, she couldn't look at it without crying! So, I'm not sure when she got the chance to see and read it all. I hope she loves it :)
Rachel and Whitney doing some hair styling...
Lauren gets the finishing touch ups before starting on make-up.
I was also in charge of making Bloody Mary's. I became a quick pro at it. They were yummy!
Up close of Lauren's pretty veil. I love lace!!
If I hadn't gone with the big dress, beaded look, I would have done the full lace thing. It's so feminine!
Steaming dresses.
Then, we were off to the wedding! Such a fun weekend :)
