Keith's Nanny is in town from Ocala, Florida. I had never met her until she arrived a couple of weeks ago. She doesn't travel much and wasn't able to make it to our wedding because of some health complications. SO, I was just delighted to be able to meet her for the first time, finally!! She's a doll of a lady and it has been nice getting to know Nanny.
Anyway, for dinner we made rice, salad, and kabobs. Chicken, steak, colored peppers, red onion, zuchini, squash and pineapple. A little goes a long way when you start ka-bobbin' em up. We like to marinade them for a long time in this bottled teriyaki stuff.
While Keith was grillin' (because I don't do that, it's a man's job) he asked me to take his picture and add it to the blog as proof that he contributed to the Jones home cooking.
There's your proof, honey! And your kabobs were great....still are :)
