Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Memphis Addy's

This weekend was the Memphis Addy awards for work done by local advertising and communications firms. This was the first award ceremony I'd been to and I was really excited. It was even more special to me because some of the pieces I've worked on were finalists. These projects involved a lot of blood, sweat and tears from our team so I was pumped when our Embassy Suites international sales projects won 3 gold Addys! My co-workers said that in years past, we've normally taken home more, but from my point-of-view, we still did great! I'm so proud to work for such a talented agency. All in all, cs2 advertising won 8 gold and 13 silver. Yay team!

Somehow, I only managed to get 2 pictures on my camera, but other people took lots, so I'll add some when I get my hands on more.

This year, the theme for the Addy's was "AdFederin Awardium", a slant on pharmaceuticals that "enhance your creativity". To get everyone excited there were signs posted outside local agencys that said things like "Enlarge your creative for low $$$, call 1-800, etc". So, they carried out the drug theme well and it was pretty entertaining. This is a picture of the cover of the Winner's Book.

Afterwards, we went down to Midtown to celebrate/lick our wounds. This is me with another account coordinator, Ms. Claire Skipper.
