What a trip! I'm back from my 4 day weekend in Destin, Florida with 3 of my bestest friends from college.

It was so great to be together again for 4 full days!

We are so thankful that we picked up some rafts. It was SO HOT down there that being in the water or the shade is practically the only way you can stand it!

Each night we pulled up our chairs and got ready together in front of the wall of mirrors! We would sip our wine and play some tunes. It was just like our old days of being roommates in the Tridelt house!

Kelsey definitely rounds out the group with her soft blonde locks. Me, Mere and Collin have some crazy brunette beach curls going on!

Friday night we had dinner at Crab Trap!

Unfortunately, we had to drop Collin off at the airport early for a wedding she was attending back in Arkansas. We were sad to see her go early, but so thankful that she was able to come!
Back on the beach, we did what we do best: Nothing!
Again, I cannot express enough just how HOT it was!
Thank goodness for my hat.... after I allowed my forehead to get so burned the day before. Oops!
That evening, after some rain clouds moved through, the sky turned a beautiful color.

On our last day (today), we headed to Seaside for some good eats and strolling around. At Great Southern Cafe, Kelsey ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes Benedict...
And Mere and I had the Grits a Ya-Ya. Fabulous! In fact, everything I ate on this trip was delish.

We savored every second in Seaside before heading back to the airport to make our way home.
Thank you, friends, for a wonderful time together! I love that we picked right back up where we left off and didn't miss a beat. My friend cup is full and I'm already looking forward to the next trip! :)
