Hallelujah- I have art! This weekend, I had Keith hang 2 new additions to the home-front. The first is one that I spotted on art.com. If you've never been to this site, shame on you! No, really, it's a great website for wall decor. I've been a fan for years. Anyway, I found this particular painting back in September and have been wanting it for my living room. So, for Christmas, my darling hubby spotted me the dough to buy it. Another great thing about art.com are the email discounts. I get 'em all the time. I waited (for what felt like forever) to get one so I could order the print. Then, recently, the email was in my inbox like a golden nugget! And it arrived at our house by the friendly Fedex man on Saturday. Oh, yes, that's another benefit to living near Memphis- Fedex packages arrive in record-breaking time.
I like big boxes. It means something fun is inside.


There it is. Hanging nicely.

Now, the next piece of art wasn't as planned as the other. I found it this week on the Pier 1 website. So, Friday (pay day- duh!) I swung by there after work, fell in love, and took the baby home. I'm quite pleased.
