Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

The costume decision

Thanks, friends, for the votes on the Halloween costume poll. Sorry to let the you down, but we did not go as the #1 pick, Dentist and Tooth Fairy. There's a good reason behind that, too. Keith was supposed to receive scrubs that are monogrammed with his name from the dental school. Just a few days before Halloween, I was still waiting on them to come in. So, one day they handed them out....and poor Keith's weren't in the batch. I guess that means he isn't an official student or something...I dunno. Anyway, so I had to move to Plan B. We'll be the dentist and tooth fairy another year, I promise. While at a costume shop, I spotted a perfect Elvis suit for Keith. I loved it! Low and behold, I also found a female Elvis costume, which was much more fun to wear than a 60s dress and go as Priscilla. So, there you have it. Elvis and .... Elvis. It's pretty fitting being that we live in Memphis now. Home of the Blues. Birthplace of Rock and Roll. Graceland. Beale Street. Union Avenue. You get the point....Pretty awesome..... Check out the final product below. Yes, Keith grew out an impressive beard and shaved his own chops, and he had on blue suede shoes.

Thank ya, thank ya very much
