Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Congrats! Michelle, send your address to mkendalljones@gmail.com and I'll get your Southern Living ordered! Yay!

Just for fun, I did a tally of what everybody said they'd like, and like a dork, I made a pie chart. Oh yes, yes I did:

It was really fun to hear your thoughts and read your comments. I especially liked getting comments from readers I had not heard from yet, and loved clicking through to different blogs! I have a feeling I'll do more giveaways in the future!!

Now, for this week's menu:

Gobble Gobble Gobble.

I'm not cooking at home this week, but will be helping mom in her kitchen! We are headed to my aunt and uncle's house for Thanksgiving dinner, but we'll pitch in and bring things! These are a few dishes on our agenda:

Cranberry and Pecan Brie En Croute - I love brie! I have made brie en croute a few ways, but this recipe sounds great, from Tablespoon. Perhaps I'll make this little appetizer and take to our dinner!

Festive Cranberry Salad - This is one of my favorite dishes, commonly made by my mom and Aunt Kay. I'll post the recipe for y'all this week!

Champagne Turkey - My favorite turkey! Mom has been making it this way for as long as I can remember. Click here for my post with the recipe. If you're like me, and doing the turkey intimidates you, this easy recipe will put you at ease! It's fantastic!!

Luscious Layered Pumpkin Cake - I've been meaning to make this cake ever since Meredith posted it! I think I'll finally get around to that this week. Yum!!

Are you making anything for your Thanksgiving festivities this week?
