Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Menu Monday 4/12

I'm joining the Menu Monday trend I've been seeing on blogs lately. Again, you may not give two shakes about what I'm planning to eat for dinner this week, but if you like cooking and getting new recipes, you just might!

Here's what's on the list:

 mosaic8d7d3b738d48ec3b6ce19f50fd0de0682e4ee57e

Tuesday: Chicken Caprese and a small side salad (top right)

Wednesday: Cook out at The Trammells. I'll be bringing this low-calorie Cool, Creamy Chocolate Dessert (bottom left)

Thursday: Pasta with Asparagus, Bacon and Pine Nuts (bottom right) I'm substituting pancetta for bacon

I haven't ever made any of the items above. That's my style, folks! Most people, and I used to be this way, have only a few recipes in their rotation that they constantly make. Well, I am the opposite. I make tons and tons of new things. I'm addicted to new recipes. So much so that I forget about some of the great things I've made only once before! Not sure if that's a problem or a good thing? I do know it's a recipe storage problem at my house though!

I'll let you know how these dishes turn out!
