Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

HBD, Lauren!

It's Lauren's birthday! I've told you about my sweet, wonderful friend Lauren Setzler here and here, and you can keep up with her progress here. She is doing really well, considering that she is still undergoing chemo. Her most recent tests show that she is leukemia-free! We are all hoping and praying that she will stay that way. What a blessing! She is such a trooper.

In honor of her birthday, I sent her a little care package of love. I ordered her a custom-made blessing ring from my friend, Elaine Wheat, at design{etc}. Elaine and her husband lived next door to Keith in Fayetteville towards the end of his college days, and she is very talented and kind!

I told her to please use bright, happy colors, because that's Lauren's personality! I think she did a great job :)

If you haven't seen a blessing ring before, it's meant to be a reminder of all the love and support you have. You can punch a hole in just about anything (a note, letter, verse, photo) and string it on your blessing ring.

To get Lauren started, I wrote about 6 or 7 encouraging notes and prayers.
I know she needs lots of support and love right now.

I think it turned out so cute, and special. Thank you, Elaine.

Happy Birthday, Lauren! I'm cheering for you!
