Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Bachelorette Party: Tickle my France-y

...and that's the nail color I chose at The Nail Bar on the Island!

Tickle my France-y

It was "We'll always have Paris" for the toes.

{by the way, have you been to the OPI website? it's awesome}

Ding Ding! - it's round II of the Bachelorette weekend posts.

After our lovely little brunch, we headed over to Memphis and down to Mud Island, where in quaint little Harbor Town, you have The Nail Bar. A personal favorite of mine!!!

I first told you about this here. It's one of my top things to do in Memphis with girl friends.

This was a surprise for the bride. She was delighted! Pedi's and Mani's are one of her favorite things, as you can see from her blog post.

{Kelsey, Meredith, Allison, Jessica}

Kelsey has a box of something fabulous.....

{Isn't this place SO cute! It's very chic and trendy}

We reserved the place and had it all to ourselves! We brought our own wine in and some special little treats courtesy of Kelsey...

{Behold}

Sprinkles cupcakes all the way from Dallas. Man oh man. These suckers are too good to be true. From left to right, we had Chocolate Marshmallow, Vanilla Milk Chocolate, Red Velvet (the best!), and Summer Cherry.

{Jeni was so surprised!!}

They also let you bring in your movie of choice for the big screen. We brought a wedding classic, Father of the Bride.

{Allison and Brittany, the bride's sister, cozy up to the bar for their manicures}

{lots and lots of pedicures}

{Collin almost gave Kelsey the pedicure herself}

{I see some pretty red nails on Brittany, but why is she wearing the bride's crown?}

Ok, back to the nail polish, don't you just love OPI and their color names? So creative! Not to mention, it really is the best quality....Like I said above, go to their website, it's really fun!

A few of my favorites over the years are:

Tutti Frutti Tonga
Miami Beet
Baguette Me Not
You Don't Know Jacques
Melon of Troy
Dulche de Leche
Little Red Wagon

I typically deliberate about my chosen nail color for ten minutes when I go to salons. It's quite silly.

...back to the party....I have really digressed....

We had such a good time at the nail salon that we came back and all took naps...

{Allison and Jessica are under there...I think}

Then, we all got ready for our big night out! Part III coming tomorrow :)
