Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Wine Friday: Cabernet Sauvignon

Happy Friday!! I am very excited for the weekend. One of my very best friends is getting married and I'm looking so forward to standing by her on her big day! I'll be sure and share all of the wedding weekend pics on Sunday.

Now, for Wine Friday!

This Friday, I'm featuring a delicious Cab that I've had several times, and enjoyed a couple of glasses of last night. I love the flavor, red label and the fun twist-off top. This is a great one!

Project Paso, Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
Year: 2009
Origin: Paso Robles, California
Average Price: $9
Wine Notes from Don Sebastiani & Sons Vineyard: Our Project Paso Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent example of high quality Paso Robles Cabernet. On the palate, flavors of black cherry, dark plum, and cinnamon-spiked strawberry preserves come together with integrated, mouth-watering acidity. Small amounts of Petite Sirah and Grenache are blended into this wine, adding to the rustic body and earthy flavors. This wine is a steakhouse Cab, and pairs well with a classic American Ribeye and baked potatoes with bacon and chives. For lunch or a casual dinner, open up a bottle with a tri-tip sandwich with grilled onions and peppers.
Happy weekend!!
