New Chair!

I am so excited! We have a new chair in our house.....

Welcome, chair. I have been waiting for you.

We had the perfect spot for you. I had been searching for a chair to fill that spot for a long time. Nothing I found seemed to be right.

Then, I saw you. And, you were made JUST for our living room. 

You belong with us.

Ok, enough of the weird 'talking to the chair' thing....

Isn't it a beaut? I love it.

I spotted it in Pier 1 Imports over a week ago. I snapped pictures on my phone. Fell in love. Yearned for it after I left the store.

Dramatic? Yes.

I would have purchased it on the spot that Saturday, but I knew that big of a purchase required some thinkin'-over and a chat with the hubs.

He didn't shoot it down immediately. I also made an excellent case for it.

I would list my outstanding rationale here, but then a law firm might want to hire me. Or a sales force.

Anyway....

Do you know what my sweet hubs did!?

He showed up on Friday after work and it was in the back of his truck.

I LOVE that man! I also LOVE surprises. I'm one lucky lady.

So, I was delighted to return the smaller chair to it's rightful home:

The charming guest bedroom.

It's a colorful, happy place. 

Even though my picture turned out a little dark.

This chair is happy here. New chair is happy in living room. 

Keith and I are very happy with our new purchase. So exciting!

Yawn, I'm SUCH an adult. :)
