It's Jantastic's birthday!
...and fantastic she is!
My mom is amazing.
She's very, very special to me.
We're BFFs.
She's smart, gorgeous, funny, sweet, kind, creative, talented, dedicated, imaginative, supportive....
...she's a lot like me :)
No really, we're A LOT alike!
She's the reason I like to cook, decorate and entertain. And she's the only reason I'm any good at those things!
She's a great mother, the best friend a girl could ask for, and has been cheering for me all my life. When I think back on all of the things she's done for me, I am in awe.
{I am tearing up right now as I write this. Pull it together, KJ!}
From my birthday parties that we would plan together for months, to homemade barbie doll clothes, baking in her kitchen, to shopping for the perfect outfits and matching shoes, we've bonded over ideas and creativity for as long as I can remember.
She has put up with me when I've had an attitude, especially through that phase in high school when I thought I was real smart. She has taught me so much about life and has given me amazing advice. She's the one person I can call that I know will 'totally understand' whatever I may want to vent about!
She's shown me what it means to be a great mom, wife, sister, friend and worker.
She's my role model. She's what I want to be when I grow up.
{Ok, now I'm just crying. I do that easily when it comes to anything about my Mom}
