Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Wine Friday: Shiraz Cabernet

Happy Friday! I'm thrilled it's almost the weekend. After a busy week, and all the crazy storms we had in Memphis last night, I'm ready to relax with some vino...

wine fridays

Keith and I have a date tonight (all details are still TBD :) but I know that when I get home from work I'm going to help myself to a glass of this:

Penfolds Koonunga Hill 2008

This is one of my favorite red blends. I saw it recommended in a magazine a long time ago (can't remember which one) and have been hooked ever since. It also helps that you can find it just about anywhere that sells wine.

Penfolds Koonunga Hill: Shiraz Cabernet
Year: 2008
Origin: Australia
Average price: $8-10
Notes: Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet is a highly regarded wine in the bargain category, and is known for its full-flavored style with excellent Shiraz and Cabernet fruit, firm yet well-rounded structure and balanced oak.

TGIF!

I love Koonunga Hill! I'm enjoying Menage a Trois California Red tonight and love it. It's a must try!
