Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Chicken on a stick, Crafts Fair and Corn Hole

The weather was perfect here in Memphis yesterday. Fall has arrived! Keith and I made the most of it and spent the majority of the day outside.

We made a trip to the local nursery and picked up mums, pumpkins and a bale of hay for the front porch. Then, we headed to the Pink Palace Crafts Fair at Audubon Park with Keith's mom and sister, Meagan...

It seems everyone else in Memphis had the same idea :)
We didn't mind the crowds, it was worth it!

we didn't eat the food from this booth, but found it hilarious

mmmm. fried dill pickles, chicken on a stick, pronto pups, bbq nachos and fresh squeezed lemonade

 a bizarre hat booth

these hats were fuzzy. clearly, i need one!

 Keith found something he liked....

it was some kind of hammock that would ball up into the size of your fist.
it was just about the only thing at the crafts fair that appealed to him!

enjoying a homemade peanut brittle sample

the ladies love shopping! such a cute, cheesy picture :)

 walking through the pumpkin patch

picking out some baby pumpkins and gords

 pretty Meagan!

Ms Penny and a cute scare crow!

Afterwards, Keith and I headed over to a dental school party. It was a corn hole tournament, and lemme tell ya, they take this stuff seriously! Keith and Travis placed third.

a few teams are warming up

these parties are often sponsored by dental companies or groups...

and the students love it!

 The fearless host, Jason.

Saturday was a great day outside. And, today has been 100% inside! It has been raining since we woke up.
It's been a really relaxing weekend for us. Hope yours has been the same!!
