Stupid Crock Pot

Ugh...... Geeezzzzzz. Blaaaahhhhh.

Just my luck today. I swear. Seriously.
So, I had never used my brand spankin' new crock pot until today. My mom gave me a good recipe so I figured it was time to try. This morning I got it out, filled it up, and set the time. I was SO looking forward to coming home and having all the work done for me. Around 6:45, I got home and smelled the delicious aroma of slow-cooker meat. Much to my dismay, I opened the lid and saw complete disaster.
The crock pot I received is SO big and my recipe was only small enough for two people. It just evaporated all the moisture and burnt up the edges. The good part in the middle wasn't going to be enough for one person.
What a bummer. First step- call mom. "Mom, what the heck happened!? It's a crock pot. It's idiot-proof, right?" She consoled me. Next step- call Keith. "Help! Today isn't my day! I need you to pick up something...."

So, here we are eating a box of pizza and watching tv.......Pure marital bliss. At least I have a loving and forgiving husband :)
