Last night, we had a wonderful time at Memphis' Live at the Garden summer concert series, where we got to see the Steve Miller Band. The fabulous advertising firm I work for, cs2, is an event sponsor and I was fortunate to receive 4 tickets to sit at our very-close table. I invited my Mom and Dad and we made a night of it!

Steve Miller was AWESOME! He played all the greatest hits, like....
"Abra-Abra Cadabra...I wanna reach out and grab 'ya..."
"Fly like an eagle, to the sea....Fly like an eagle, let my spirit carry me....."
"Go on, take the money and run...."
But, best of all was the encore:
"You're the cutest thing that I ever did see....Really love your peaches - wanna shake your tree....."
Oh, what fun when everybody is singing along!
Mom and Dad had such a great time!!! They've already said they'd be happy to use any tickets I happened upon in the future :)

What a great night we had! The weather was actually not unbearable, the music was rockin' and the company at our table was great, too. John David and Becky, we must hang out again soon! :)
