Hello! Welcome to Keeping Up with the Joneses. Thanks for stopping by! We're a young couple living in the East Arkansas/Memphis area otherwise known as The Delta, with a love for family, friends, faith and food.

We believe that some of the best memories are created at home around the dinner table, and when entertaining those you love. This little blog is where I share recipes, wine, our home and our life. Enjoy! -Kendall

What You'll Find:

I love to try new recipes. In fact, I rarely make the same thing twice. I'm a bona-fide cookbook collector, Pinterest addict and magazine aficionado. On the blog, you'll see what I've got cooking.

I love wine, y'all, so from time to time I feature bottles I've loved. Crafts and decorating our little house are passions of mine, so you may see some of that. Thanks for stopping by!

Gran Torino

Wow, what a great movie! Keith and I went on a "triple date" last night with 2 other couples we've met through school. We debated which movie to see right up until the tickets were bought. It was between this Clint Eastwood movie, or Bride Wars. Of course, us ladies were leaning towards the chick flick, and the boys were determined to see something else. So, without knowing what to expect with Gran Torino (none of us knew anything about it, really), we bought our tickets and settled in. I was pleasantly surprised by how funny it was. There are, unfortunately, a lot of racial slurs and bad language, but it's part of the story. Clint Eastwood reminded me of my grandpa, except for the angry, bitter, racist part! He's old, but sure doesn't think he is!
Anyway, it's no wonder this is getting a lot of Oscar buzz, because it's great! Go see it!
